About the project

Project title METRIS PLUS – Boosting Research and Innovation Potential of the Adriatic Cross-border Area in a Joint Research Initiative led by Metris Research Centre
Project METRIS PLUS is aprooved for funding under  the second component of  the IPA Adriatic Cross-Border Cooperation Programme (Priority 1 Economic, Social and Institutional Cooperation, Measure 1.1. Research and Innovation).

Lead partner is the Istrian Development Agency and partners are Region of Istria, SVIM Regional Development Agency of Marche Region (Italy), UIP University development center  and university incubator of Primorska (Slovenia), SERDA Sarajevo Regional Development Agency (BiH), Alma Mons –Regional Agency for the Development of Small and Medium size Enterprises, Novi sad (Serbia).

Associates in the project are: Polytechnic Pula – University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of  Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture.

The Project aims to enhance research and innovation capacity of the Adriatic Cross-Border Region through joint research projects and cooperation between institutions in the public, private, academic and research sector. The specific objective is to strengthen scientific , technological and research capacity in the border areas of the eco – innovation and support initiatives to develop eco-innovative technologies in wastewater treatment systems.

The total project value is 1.768.374,00 €.

 

The project is co-financed by the European Union trough the IPA Adriatic Cross-Border Cooperation Programme with amount of 1.503.117,90 € (85%).

Start of implementation: 03/2011

End of implementation: 02/2014

Implementation period: 36 months
