NOTICE ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AUTONOMOUS INSTITUTE METRIS

From 16th January 2015, METRIS Research Centre no longer operates as a Research and Development Department of the Istrian Development Agency (IDA) Ltd. and from this date on operates as an autonomous institute established by the Region of Istria and the Istrian Development Agency (IDA) Ltd. Thereby METRIS Research Centre became the legal follower of the Istrian Development Agency (IDA) Ltd. METRIS Centre was established in 2009 as a part of the project ''Research Centre for Metal Industry in Istrian County - MET.R.IS.'' financed by PHARE 2006 programme and over the following course of years it has established itself as a thriving Centre for material's research through its activities among which stand out technical tests and services, scientific research and education as well as participation in various projects financed by different EU funds in which METRIS was representing Research and Development Department of the Istrian Development Agency Ltd. Crown accomplishment for Centre METRIS acting as a Research and Development Department of Istrian development agency (IDA) Ltd. was leading a project named ''Boosting Research and Innovation Potential of the Adriatic Cross-border Area and the Joint Research Initiative led by Metris Research Centre - METRIS Plus'' approved for funding under the second component of IPA Adriatic Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013 (Priority 1. Economic, Social and Institutional Cooperation, Measure 1.1. Research and Innovation).
