SERDA is the Regional Development Agency appointed by the European Union, with the mission to create encouraging environment for a sustainable economic development in Sarajevo Macro Region (SMR), and to strengthen and promote development of SMR through mobilization of all available resources. The goal is harmonized and dynamic economic development of SMR for the purpose of strengthening mechanisms for the accession of B&H to the EU. SERDA is founded by 32 municipalities, 2 cities and the Canton of Sarajevo. The project staff comprise 6 Project Managers, 1 Project Coordinator and 4 Senior Program Managers experienced in various project implementation (between 60 and 70 small and large projects yearly).
During the previous period, SERDA has confirmed its position as a leader and reliable partner in the regional economic development in B&H. Therefore, it is actively working on creation of the adequate environment for regional economic development as well as development of SME.
